What the groom changes.

Length, loose undercoat, nails, the hair on the outer ear, and mats that will comb out. The groom leaves skin disease, limps, and surgery with your vet.

Smooth coats

Beagles, boxers, vizslas, and most short coats need a bath, a dry, nails, and ears. Feathering on the tail or legs gets a tidy if you want it. There is no breed haircut to invent. French bulldogs sit in this group for the coat, and in the August morning rule for the nose.

Double coats

Huskies, goldens, German shepherds, collies, and Pomeranians keep their undercoat. A light de-shed lifts the dead fluff after the bath. Peachcoat does not shave that coat for summer. The undercoat is how the dog handles heat and cold. If the coat is felted into a mat that will not comb, the desk talks with you before any clipper comes out, and the price moves with the time.

Wire coats

Schnauzers and many terriers grow a jacket that is meant to be plucked. Hand-stripping keeps the wire feel and needs a longer booking. Clipping is faster and softens the texture. Tell the desk which one you want. A first visit on a clipped wire coat will not suddenly look hand-stripped.

Curly coats

Poodles, doodles, and bichons are cut to a length you can name. Face, feet, and tail are shaped in the same visit. A dense doodle can take the heavy-dog price even under 32 kg, and the desk will say that before you confirm. Mats behind the ears are the usual reason a curly coat costs more than the card.

Silky coats

Maltese, Yorkshire terriers, and Shih Tzus are bathed, dried straight, and trimmed. You can keep the length or take it short for the Tel Aviv summer. A Shih Tzu with a very short muzzle follows the flat-faced heat rule on the van page.

Cats

A short coat gets a bath, a brush, nails, and ears. A long coat is detangled first. A lion cut happens only when the coat is matted and you ask for it. Cats come in a carrier to the van door. Peachcoat does not sedate. If a cat wants to leave, the groom stops.

The parts people forget

Nails are shortened and the sharp edge is taken off. Ear work is the hair on the outer ear and a gentle clean of what we can see. It is not a treatment down the ear canal. Sanitary trim and feet are part of a full groom. A second pet at the same address takes ₪40 off the smaller full groom, and the area minimum is counted once.
